Petra Kouzina was born out of a desire to make visitors feel local, live as locals and enjoy signature Greek island living through a culinary experience. Our intention is to share knowledge and culture by means of food, to invite our guests to meet new, amazingly diverse people, and become part of our warm hospitality in our traditional home.

A paradise that has so much to offer that we feel a responsibility to share it with others and we are doing it through a unique culinary experience.

Megalochori
Megalochori is one of the most picturesque villages on the island, home to historical mansions, old cave houses, pirate hideaways and wine ‘canavas’. This traditional village lies on a hill creating a labyrinth of alleys and streets. The vineyards that extend beyond the countryside offer a magnificent and top quality wine.

A great effort is been made by local residents and businessmen to preserve the characteristics and beauty of this traditional settlement. Many of the original houses that had fallen into disrepair, have been restored to their former glory. Petra Kouzina is one of them, we have restored a Cave House of 1920, maintaining its original structure within the rock to create a unique space.
